Baby + Toddler
Amazon Favorites I Use with Two Boys at Different Stages
Having two boys in different stages means I am constantly shopping for two completely different kinds of needs at the same time. One is almost five and full of big ideas, big energy, and a very serious need to build, write, ride, and stay busy. The other is almost one, newly standing, curious about everything, and still very much in the baby routine stage.
So instead of a random list of cute products, I organized this like a little catalog: what each item solves, which stage it helps with, and why I would actually recommend it.
Independent Play
These are the things I reach for when I want something that keeps my older son engaged, learning, building, or creating without immediately asking what we are doing next.
Letter Tracing Books for Kids
These have been a great quiet-learning activity for my four-year-old. He genuinely enjoys working through the letters, numbers, and shapes, and it gives us a screen-free activity that keeps him focused for more than 20 minutes while he practices real skills.
Magnetic Tiles Road Set with Pullback Car Magnet Tiles
This is a must-have in our house. We have multiple magnetic tile sets because there are never enough pieces for my toddler's imagination. He builds towns, bridges, and garages for his trucks and cars, and this keeps him engaged several days a week for long stretches of independent play.
Montessori Activity Table
This has been a great activity table for our newly standing almost-one-year-old. I love that it can start on the floor and then transition into a standing table as he grows. It feels useful for more than one short stage, which is always a win.
Outdoor Energy
Some products are not about being cute. They are about getting the wiggles out, making outside time easier, and keeping everyone from melting down before dinner.
Baby Swing for Infants and Toddlers
This is our first time using a portable swing with our second son, and I love how easy it is to move where we need it. We have even used it inside our home. The fabric feels sturdy, the seatbelt is secure, and he laughs the entire time.
STACYC Brushless 16eDRIVE Electric Balance Bike
This is definitely a splurge, but it is used daily in our house. Our son rides it for long stretches, including trips to the park, without getting worn out before we make it home. We keep him on the slow setting, and it has been a favorite for building confidence and burning energy.
Sleeping
Sleep products earn their keep in our house when they become part of the routine and make bedtime feel familiar for both boys.
BubblePanda Rayon Made from Bamboo Sleep Sack
This sleep sack has become part of our nightly routine. Once it goes on, our baby knows it is time to wind down. It also gives me peace of mind because he stays cozy without loose blankets, especially since we keep our house cool at night.
Astronaut Star Projector Night Light
This specific projector has been one of our longest-running bedtime favorites. We have had the first one for more than four years, and it still works beautifully even with nightly use. We liked it so much that we bought another one for the baby's room.
Travel Necessities
These are the products that make leaving the house feel less like packing for a small expedition. Some are for baby feeding, some are for toddler entertainment, and all of them solve a real on-the-go problem.
Momcozy Portable Bottle Warmer
I absolutely love this for feeding on the go. I recommend it for both formula and breastfeeding moms because being able to warm milk while you are out of the house makes baby travel feel much more manageable.
Baby Brezza All Day Portable Breastmilk Cooler
This is high on my list for breastfeeding and pumping on the go. Being able to pump away from home and store milk properly is such a relief. It keeps everything cool for hours and gives me peace of mind when we are out for the day.
LCD Writing Tablet for Kids
This is perfect for our toddler, who is currently obsessed with writing everyone's names. It is easy to bring in the car or into a restaurant, and it gives him something creative to do when we want to avoid screen time.
Amazon Fire HD 10 Kids Tablet
We are not a huge screen-time family, but this tablet has been helpful when we use it intentionally. We mainly use learning apps like Duolingo Kids for reading, letter sounds, spelling names, and educational games that feel worthwhile.
How I decide what is worth sharing
If it solves a real problem, survives real kid use, and makes one part of our day easier, it earns a spot. These are the kinds of Amazon finds I keep coming back to because they fit our actual routines instead of just looking cute in a cart.
